How it Works

CUSTOM TRAINING PLAN

The Training Plan is going to be built for you, based on your availability, capabilities and goals. You are going to have identical training methods as world’s best riders. The plan is going to contain recovery and nutrition tips, core training exercises and each day you’ll have training focusing on different aspect of your cycling capability.
As you go, training plan is going to be adjusted based on your performance or any other aspect that may impact your fitness.

TESTS

In special period of the season coach will build a specific test for track your fitness, your strength and weaknesses, modify the training zones and understand the rider response at the training load.

Remember:you can not improve what you can not measure!

TRAINING INSTRUCTION

Each training session comes with detailed instructions and usually contains few intervals.

The intervals are based on your training zones and you will see precisely what power or hart-rate you should hold for complete the session.

Training information such TSS, IF, NP comes with the program.

How much time do I need to train?

Whether you currently have no time to train or 20 hours, coaching is about developing a program that you’re able to adhere to and fits your life. This is what sets us apart from just a training plan and many other coaching companies. you receive a well thought out and personalized program that’s unique to your situation and that continually evolves week to week.

Why 6 or 12-month commitment.?

Training is a medium-long term commitment and you need time for let your body adapt to the various stimulus of it.

6 months is the base length of time for gradually improve your skills and ability to ride faster and adapt to the training load.

12 months is the perfect commitment for gain power and improve your weaknesses.

How does online/remote coachingwWork?

After you have signed up and you have reply to a simple questionnaire begun the initial setup of your training plan. Your coach will provide your workouts in Training Peaks. After you perform the workouts, you will upload your data into Training Peaks and your coach will analyse that data, depending on your Coaching Package. This data and analysis will provide the coach with the information needed to plan your future training as well as monitor your progress.

I Don't race and I'm just looking to improve my overall fitness. Do you coach athletes like me?

Yes! Whether you are looking to win your next event, improve general fitness, or just lose weight we can help you out.

Do I need a Power Meter/ Heart rate monitor?

If you want the most out of your training effort, these tools (at least one) are recommended.

The more data I have, the better I can help you make gains, analyze your workouts, and provide the most specific training to help you meet your goals.

I don’t have a Power Meter but I want buy.

I can suggest you, based on your needs and budget, which one is the best choice for you.

Does the training plan include indoor training workout?

Of course! Based on your time, equipment and weather conditions we can make a training plan for optimize your training time.

What is

Riding position is a key biomechanical factor influencing cycling performance and injury risk.

The optimal bike fit is a compromise between cycling performance, cycling economy, injury prevention and comfort.

We use acomprehensive data-driven and knowledge-based approach tooptimise a rider’s position on the bike. Fit starts with cleat-pedal interface adjustments, cycling specific range of motion assessments, followed by dynamic motion capture and finally report.

SETTING YOUR SHOE AND CLEAT POSITION

The bike fit starts by concentrating on your foot-pedal interface and the multiple ways the cleat aligns to the sole of your cycling shoe.

Ensuring your cleats are positioned correctly is critical for comfort – otherwise you risk forcing your feet and lower legs out of alignment causing knee pain.

We also examine how your knees track over the pedals. It may only need a few minor adjustments to get where your foot meets the pedal perfect but getting this position spot-on can significantly enhance your ride and how much power you generate.

FINDING YOUR OPTIMAL SADDLE HEIGHT AND POSITION

Finding your ideal saddle height and position is important for cycling as efficiently (and therefore, as fast) as possible. If your saddle is fixed too low or too high, it also means you’re more susceptible to knee pain and injury.

We align the saddle height and position to suit your individual physical needs, ensuring that your body weight is evenly distributed and posture is maintained in the correct position. This helps to increase your pedalling efficiency and reduce the amount of energy you expend, in tum boosting your endurance level, so ultimately you can ride for longer with ease.

ADJUSTING HANDLEBAR HEIGHT AND REACH

Another key aspect of our bike fit system is finding your correct handlebar height and reach.

Posture problems, for example, overreaching – stretching too far from the saddle to the bars – can cause a range of problems, from shoulder and lower back pain through to putting too much pressure on your hands causing numbness.

We adjust the length of the stem and handlebar reach to reflect your body type, leg and arm length and back flexibility, which can vary greatly depending on your profession (office-based or physical) and activities you enjoy.

Finding your optimum handlebar, saddle and cleat position can have an enormous impact on your overall riding performance and cycling enjoyment.

We understand that your time is as important as your fit so we will be able to come to you on special arrangements. Fit protocol remains unchanged – you will be getting the same expertise at your city. Contact us for quote and the necessary arrangements that we need to make the fit sessions possible.

A minimum of three days is needed for each off-site project with suitable sponsored venue like a function room.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports sciences from University of Parma.
  • Cycling trainer degree held by CONI (Italian National Olympic Committee) and FCI (Italian Cycling Federation).
  • Sport director I, II, III level by FCI (Italian Cycling Federation).
  • Hunter’s Allen Power Certification Course
  • Coach of UAE Team Emirates in the 2017 and 2018 season.
  • Coach of professional cycling team since 2014.
  • Former cyclist from 6 to 24 years old.

I start cycling since I was 6 years old and ever since never want to stop!
Racing in international events, as Under23 athlete, gave me experience of what it means be professional and train hard to achieve a goal.
As a trainer I worked with young athletes of Continental teams and I had experience also in Asia.
Then I worked for a World Tour Team (UAE Team Emirates) and I train top athletes such Louis Meintjes (8th GC in Tour de France 2017), Dan Martin (stage winner and 8th GC in Tour de France 2018), Matej Mohoric, Diego Ulissi, Ben Swift  Darwin Atapuma and Simone Petilli.
